Amber Fort
Amber Fort, also known as Amer Fort, is a palace complex located in the town of Amer, just outside of Jaipur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The fort was built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh I and is a stunning example of Rajput architecture.

The architecture of Amber Fort is a blend of Hindu and Mughal styles. The fort is made of red sandstone and white marble. It is made up of four main sections, each with its own courtyard, palace, and entrance.
The intricate carvings, mirror work, and paintings in the fort are stunning.
The fort is situated on top of a hill and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a lake.
The main entrance to the fort is through the Suraj Pol (Sun Gate), which leads to the first courtyard known as the Jaleb Chowk.
The second courtyard, known as the Diwan-i-Am, was used for public audiences and is where the Maharaja would meet with his subjects.
The third courtyard, known as the Diwan-i-Khas, was used for private audiences and is where the Maharaja would meet with important dignitaries.
The fourth and final section of the fort is the Sheesh Mahal, or Palace of Mirrors. This beautiful palace is covered with thousands of tiny mirrors that reflect light and create a stunning effect. It is said that the palace was used by the Maharaja’s queens and their attendants.
One of the most popular ways to visit the fort is by taking an elephant ride up the hill to the entrance. This is a unique and memorable experience that allows visitors to see the fort from a different perspective.
