I’m thrilled to share with you the mesmerizing world of Irshalgad – a hidden gem that will steal your heart…! Yes, it was unplanned trip of me and my friend Harshal. IRSHALGAD Fort is located in between Matheran and Panvel in Maharashtra. It is a sister fort to Prabalgad. The area of the fort is not large but there are several water cisterns cuts from the rock. There is a water tank on the route from Irshal Plateau to the peak. To reach the top of the pinnacle it is essential to have artificial rock-climbing equipment. From the top, you can see the forts of Prabalgad, Matheran, Chanderi, Malanggad, Karnala and Manikgad.
Irshalgad is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts, trekkers, and history buffs alike. Best Route to visit: Irshalgad is located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, approximately 75 kilometers from Mumbai. It is favorable destination for both locals and tourists. Accessible by road from Mumbai and Pune, reaching the base village of Chowk is the first step of the journey to conquer Irshalgad.
