Our Journey to Raireshwar Pathar
Our day began as we took the route via Wai, passing near Dhom Dam, with the calm waters of Krishna River reflecting the morning light. Crossing Pachwad, the lush greenery and village life kept us company until we reached the base of Raireshwar.
There are two routes to reach Raireshwar Pathar:
- Via Wai-Pachwad
- Via Bhor-Kelad
On the way, Kenjalgad Fort appears majestically on one side, adding to the anticipation of the trek.
As we started the trek, the monsoon breeze and foggy paths led us to the top of Raireshwar Pathar, offering spectacular drone views of the surrounding Sahyadris.
What to See on Raireshwar Pathar
- Raireshwar Temple: The spiritual heart of the plateau, where you can feel the presence of history.
- Seven Colour Soil: A unique natural wonder where you can see layers of soil in different hues, a rare geological phenomenon in Maharashtra.
