Cultural Gems of Uttarakhand: Sightseeing Adventures

I left Pune on a tour of Uttarakhand. It was my solo trip. Now it was going to be real fun. I started my journey from Panvel and took a train to New Delhi. It was a long journey, but we had prepared well for it. As I approached Delhi, I could feel the excitement building up inside us. I’m excited to share my experience of traveling to Uttarakhand with you! Uttarakhand, also known as Devbhoomi or the “Land of Gods”, is a beautiful state located in the northern part of India. It’s known for its stunning landscapes, snow-capped mountains, pristine rivers, and rich cultural heritage.

The most common and convenient route for traveling from Panvel to New Delhi is as follows:

By Train– Panvel Junction -> Kota Junction ->New Delhi, Delhi (1 Day- 4hrs)

Then Delhi to Haridwar by Bus 

Having trekked and explored the lesser-known regions of India, I can tell you that Uttarakhand is one of its greatest gems. It’s a north Indian state situated in the Himalayas, home to sacred rivers, ancient temples, and some of the most exquisite views you’ll ever behold. Nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, Uttarakhand is a beautiful state in northern India that is known for its breathtaking natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and religious significance.
